14th Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise Set for August 7

Biggest and Best Event in Macomb County expects well over 225,000

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI. – Voted the Best Big Event in Macomb County, this year’s Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise anticipates large crowds and thousands of classics. So join in on the fun as Clinton Township shows off its love for classic cars, promotes local businesses, and encourages a sense of community by welcoming all to this family-fun event.

More than 225,000 people and thousands of classic cars are expected to line up Gratiot Avenue from 14 mile to Wellington Crescent, north of Metropolitan Parkway through Clinton Township.

Known as one of the biggest and best family cruises around, the Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise will be even better this year. Along with the thousands of classic cars, there will be plenty for everyone to take part in on the Gratiot strip. “The cruise is a big part of summer and we look forward to working on it every year,” said Shanon Rupkus, Cruise Chairperson. “Our committee is always working to bring forth new ideas to ensure that people of all ages enjoy their day at the cruise.”

Prior to the cruise there are Five Pre-Cruise Car Shows starting Monday, August 1 and running each day until Friday, August 5. On Cruise Day spectators can expect to see thousands of street rods, hot rods, classics, race cars, pace cars, muscle cars, and trucks. There are plenty of fun things to do and see on cruise day for people of all ages.
