Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise August 7, 2016 Events for the Day Announced

CLINTON TOWNSHIP – This year the Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise will celebrate 14 years of cruising Gratiot. The cruise has grown each year, attracting more and more attendees with estimates this year of more than 225,000 people and thousands of classic cars.

Here is the Cruise Day Itinerary for Main Events.

8 a.m. Cruise Car Show Registration Opens, Meijer Cruise HQ (16 Mile & Gratiot southeast corner)
10 a.m. Moran Kid Zone opens at Meijer Cruise HQ

10:45 a.m. Opening Ceremony, Meijer Cruise HQ
- Welcome with Bob Cannon, Township Supervisor
- National Anthem, Emma Guzman
- Prayer/ Cruise Blessing

11 a.m. Dorian Ford Midway Opens, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (Dorian Ford grounds)
Many vendors, service organizations, live entertainment, Kid carnival rides, and activities

11 a.m. Pedal Car Cruise/ Parade, Meijer Cruise HQ

Noon VIP Parade/ Cruise First Lap
- Leaving from Meijer Cruise HQ
- Dana DeCoster – Grand Marshal

3 p.m. Cruise Car Show Awards/ Passport Prizes, Meijer Cruise HQ
